Our Muenster is the ultimate melt cheese. Its mild, buttery flavor and silky texture effortlessly elevate everything it touches. Layer it on a burger, fold it into a quesadilla, or melt it over mac & cheese for a result that is rich, gooey, and absolutely irresistible. Pairs well with fresh fruit, thinly sliced turkey, or a light Pinot Grigio.

Fun Fact: In Wisconsin, Muenster was among the first semi-soft cheeses European immigrants made in the late 1800s. The firmer texture of Wisconsin Muenster helped it gain popularity as a slicing cheese for sandwiches.

Beers and wines are our go-to for Wisconsin muenster. Stouts, pilsners, pale ales, porters, brown ales, lagers and Belgian ales are all really tasty with it. If you’d rather sip on wine, we suggest chardonnay, pinot noir, merlot, red zinfandel, Riesling, sauvignon Blanc, Beaujolais, pinot gris or Gruner veltliner.
